Flexible underfloor-heating pipe with an EVOH oxygen barrier

PE-RT (raised-temperature polyethylene) is a soft, flexible, fully recyclable heating-pipe material. The five-layer PE-RT/EVOH grade carries a co-extruded EVOH oxygen-barrier that stops oxygen diffusing into the water and corroding steel boilers, manifolds and valves — essential in closed hydronic heating loops. We supply both the EVOH barrier grades and the two-layer standard (non-barrier) grades in 16×2.0 and 20×2.0, rated PN6 for low-temperature underfloor heating, in coils of 100 m or 200 m and colours to order.

Cut the pipe squarely with a rotary pipe cutter and deburr the inner and outer wall — do not use an abrasive blade.
Slip the crimp sleeve and compression nut onto the pipe, then expand the pipe end onto a calibrating mandrel to round it again.
Bend cold by hand or with a spring/bender to the loop radius; the aluminium layer lets the pipe hold its shape and resist rebound.
Seat the fitting and tighten the compression nut by hand plus a quarter turn, or crimp the press sleeve with the correct tool profile to the marked depth.
Pressure-test each loop before embedding or screeding, then connect to the manifold and balance the circuits.
