On 13 October 2026, Saneper — a pipe brand under Zhejiang Sanli Pipe — dispatched the first full container of copper-plastic composite pipe to a government housing project in Mongolia. The shipment includes two material variants: PE-RT+Cu (white outer layer) and PP-R+Cu (green outer layer), in 16×2.0 mm and 20×2.0 mm specifications. The pipe conforms to EN ISO 21003 for multilayer pipes and fittings, with additional batches to follow in line with project progress.

About copper-plastic composite pipe
Copper-plastic composite pipe uses a soft-drawn copper tube as the inner core, over-extruded with a PE-RT or PP-R plastic protective layer, forming a two-layer "copper + plastic" structure. The copper core delivers excellent pressure resistance, natural bacteriostatic properties and wide-temperature adaptability; the outer plastic layer provides corrosion and condensation protection while allowing the pipe to bend and hold its shape, reducing installation complexity. Two outer-layer options suit different engineering preferences:
- PE-RT + Cu (white) — greater flexibility, suited to underfloor heating coils and exposed plumbing requiring frequent bending.
- PP-R + Cu (green) — higher temperature tolerance and rigidity, suited to risers and hot/cold water mains in multi-storey buildings.
Copper-plastic pipe combines the service life of copper (≥50 years) with the ease of plastic-pipe installation. It is widely used in high-end residential, hospital and school plumbing and heating systems where water quality and durability are paramount. The Mongolian government housing project selected this product for precisely that balance.

Why choose copper-plastic composite pipe
For government housing projects, pipe materials must balance long service life, water safety and installation efficiency. The core advantages of copper-plastic composite pipe:
| Pressure and longevity | Copper core provides high pressure resistance; design service life ≥ 50 years, reducing whole-life maintenance costs |
|---|---|
| Natural bacteriostasis | Copper ions offer broad-spectrum antimicrobial action, protecting residential drinking-water quality |
| Oxygen barrier | The copper layer completely blocks oxygen permeation, protecting metallic system components from oxidative corrosion |
| Installation friendliness | Plastic outer layer prevents condensation and corrosion; pipe bends and holds shape, reducing joint count |
| Wide temperature range | Suitable for hot water, cold water and heating across the full duty range — handles Mongolia's extreme continental temperature swings |
Saneper and the Sanli supply chain
Saneper copper-plastic composite pipe is supplied in two standard sizes — dn16 × 2.0 mm and dn20 × 2.0 mm — with custom cut length and diameter available. As Sanli's dedicated copper-plastic pipe brand, Saneper is backed by 20 production lines and a 26-step inspection system, providing overseas projects with pipe, brass fittings, compression joints and related accessories, and supporting OEM / private-label manufacturing (MOQ from about 10,000 metres). For cold-region or energy-efficiency projects, insulation film and other value-added services can be added on request. The full product line holds EAC certification. See the pipe product overview for full specifications.
Sanli Saneper copper-plastic composite pipe — combining the durability and bacteriostatic action of copper with the installation ease of plastic, for government housing and premium building water systems that demand both longevity and efficiency.
