About PE-Xa underfloor heating pipe
PE-Xa is the highest-crosslinked type of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X). It is produced by initiating a free-radical reaction with peroxides under high temperature and pressure, forming a three-dimensional network structure across the polyethylene molecular chains. This structure delivers three core advantages: flexibility — the pipe can be bent and laid with fewer joints; thermal memory — it returns to its original shape when heated, making on-site forming easy; and creep resistance and ageing stability — dimensional stability under long-term high temperature and pressure. PE-Xa underfloor heating pipe is widely used in residential and commercial underfloor radiant heating systems, and can also serve radiator connections and cold-water supply.

Highlight: peroxide cross-linking · degree of cross-linking ≥70%
The PE-Xa underfloor heating pipe in this shipment to Uzbekistan is produced by the peroxide cross-linking process (also known as the Engel process), which forms a dense three-dimensional network across the polyethylene molecular chains under high temperature and pressure, achieving a degree of cross-linking above 70%. A high degree of cross-linking means a higher temperature rating (continuous 70°C, short-term 95°C), greater pressure resistance and lower creep rate. Combined with its inherent thermal-memory effect — the pipe returns to its original shape when heated after bending — on-site installation is more flexible, especially suited to the large-area coil laying required for underfloor heating in Central Asia. The pipe conforms to ISO 15875 and GB/T 18992 and carries a design service life of 50 years.
